The video is by Blue Van Man (a British fast-food review channel), uploaded on September 22, 2026, and titled “McDonalds Big Rosti from Germany & Paprika McShaker Fries from The Netherlands.”
It’s a typical video from this guy: he goes to a UK McDonald’s, orders two limited-edition items from the “World Menu Heist” lineup, eats them in the parking lot while sweating like a pig, spouts a bunch of random nonsense (about bald redheads, *Fawlty Towers*, Just Eat, the shitty weather, etc.), and finally delivers his verdict.
The guy buys: The Big Rosti (or Big Rösti), which he claims “comes from Germany.”
The Paprika McShaker Fries, which “come from the Netherlands / Holland.”
He says the Big Rosti is surprisingly tasty for McDonald’s (“one of the best things McDonald’s has ever done”), but notes that it falls apart and is a total mess. He tries the paprika fries and says they aren’t bad.
His main complaint (and the general tone of the video) is: “McDonald’s UK is a lazy piece of shit that steals ideas from other countries because it doesn’t know how to come up with anything of its own.”
